A delightful ‘en Tremblant’ brooch, c1890. Exceptionally hand-fabricated in silver topped gold, this piece centers on a freeform spray of flowers, lined in shimmering rose cut and old-cut diamonds with a delicate enamel butterfly fluttering up above. The butterfly is aglitter with bright white rose cut diamonds and a vibrant cabochon ruby. Both the daisy heads and the butterfly are mounted on a tiny spring that give this piece movement when adorned. A rare a wonderful jewel.
