Inspired by the arched silhouette of a Gothic cathedral window, this handsome Art Deco ring was crafted by Larter & Sons of Newark, New Jersey. Prolific in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the firm was best known for their finely crafted cufflinks and men’s accessories. In the early 1920s, they introduced a line of rings known as Period Rings — a collection inspired by historic art and architecture, celebrated in a series of graphically striking advertisements that captured the spirit of the designs.

At the center of the ring rests a mottled blue lapis tablet, bezel-set within a substantial 14-karat green gold frame. Gentle traces of patina settle in the curves and hollows, softening the gold and lending depth and dimension to the design. Currently a ring size 7.75
