A whimsical pair of lovebirds, snuggled side by side on a conch pearl and coral branch, masterfully designed and fabricated in the mid 20th century by Alopa. Crafted in 18k gold and darkened silver, each ruby eyed exotic bird is aglitter with an assortment of sparkling yellow, pastel pink and bright white brilliant-cut diamonds in an ombre sequence and finished with a pair of mesmerizing carved opal wings. Simply delightful. Measures 2 1/2" x 1 5/8".
Diamonds: estimated 7 carats, assorted white, yellow and pale pink, VS2 - I2 range in clarity
