Exceptional Late 19th C French Watch Chain in 18K Gold

This wonderfully wearable and exceptionally lovely late 19th century French watch chain can easily be worn as a chic 14.5” necklace or connected to another chain or bracelet to be worn at a longer length. Entirely handcrafted in gleaming 18k gold, the main portion of the chain is composed of two beautifully woven sections, threaded through a double-sided lapis and agate slider, and capped at both ends with matching double-sided end pieces. Beautifully finished with two sections of smooth oval link chain and a matching watch key and locking watch clip that could easily be used to suspend a pendant. Absolutely marvelous.
